The Boston Public Schools (BPS)Superintendent Mary Skipper is tasked with shaping our children's education in the BPS. She is responsible for implementing educational policies, engaging with the community, and ensuring that our schools are safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments for all students. It’s important that anyone in this role hears and considers feedback by those most impacted: our students, parents/guardians, and educators.

We've formulated this survey because we want the BPS superintendent's evaluation to reflect the experiences of students, families, and educators. The Superintendent’s evaluation is run by the School Committee and incorporates ONLY their opinions. This survey runs alongside the official Boston School Committee Superintendent evaluation to ensure your perspectives are heard. It is adapted from DESE evaluation standards. We value your honest feedback on the superintendent's performance, which will be outlined in the questions that follow.
