Volunteers for Mass
We will need volunteers to assist with various aspects of our Parish Reopening Plan. Volunteers must not be part of a “vulnerable population” (not over the age of 65; no underlying medical condition such as diabetes; lung disease; undergoing cancer treatment, etc.). While we usually welcome high school volunteers, as a safety precaution, all volunteers must be over the age of 18. The timeline for re-opening is fluid and changing, and at varying phases during re-opening we may need more volunteers than at later phases. Thank you for your help!
Usher: Assist people to designated pews. Distribute hand sanitizer prior to congregants receiving Holy Communion. Help with dismissal procedures.
Greeting Volunteer: Assist in managing the flow of congregants as they enter the church, making sure attendees have registered online, use hand sanitizer upon entering, are wearing a mask, not to enter if they are ill, take temperatures upon entry.
Cleaning Volunteer: Maintain and clean trafficked areas of the church after Mass. Masks and gloves will be provided or you may use your own. Approved cleaning and disinfecting supplies will also be provided.
Eucharistic Ministers: Must be 18 (in normal circumstances, 16) or over, Confirmed, and living in a State of Grace.
Please check which Mass you prefer to help at. You may choose more than one. The most help is needed for the outdoor 6pm Mass.
