Come join us for the third annual Finke 5K Run and Walk at Millennium Park. The 3.1-mile course will start and finish at Millennium Park. The course is a slightly flat and fairly hilly grass trail that will be well marked and will be supported by volunteers to help point out the way. This race was conceived by alumni to honor long time KSD teacher and cross-country coach Arlen Finke who is also known in this area as an avid runner. Arlen, or Finke as everyone calls him, also took care of the KSD/Danville cross country course long after his retirement by clearing out branches and other obstacles on the course.

3.1-mile run/walk men/women age divisions:

Age 9 & under, 10-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45 -49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+, KSD alumni*, current KSD student*

*KSD alumni should indicate age division and alumni status on entry form

Awards for 3.1-mile race/walk, alumni, and current KSD student will be presented to the overall male and female winners. The top three finishers in each age division will also receive awards.

Awards will be presented immediately following the race.
