Micro Cinema Theatre Workshop - 14th - 16th June - with Gavin Glover
Gavin Glover was a founder member of Faulty Optic Theatre of Animation a leading visual theatre and puppet company who toured their surreal and dark shows throughout the UK and Europe for over 20 years. Gavin has experimented with simple video techniques and projections to take audiences on journeys to extraordinary miniature cinematic worlds. Recently he has developed these ideas to share with other practitioners in a workshop which he calls Micro Cinema Theatre. He is currently working with the Abbey on their production of 'Ulysses', and has agreed to run a workshop for Irish practitioners while he's in town.

For all theatre-makers, actors, puppeteers, directors, musicians, dancers, scenographers, live artists, choreographers and film makers who would like to incorporate live video with performance on stage. The workshop has been organised by theatre-maker Michelle Read as part of her own practice and as a resource for the wider community.
