3/7 Accessibility Training RSVP

Time: 2:00pm - 4:30pm
Location: Boston University in the Stone Science Building in room 453. The address is 675 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.


Steve Slowinksi of Partners for Youth with Disabilities will be leading us on how to design accessible and inclusive spaces, followed by a facilitated debrief led by the Sunrise Boston Accessibility Working Group and Trainings Team. The debrief will serve as a space for Sunrise (and BSAC and BCS!) members to reflect on what we've learned and start planning how we will use our new tools to create accessible spaces within our teams and campaigns.

We have a long way to go on accessibility and a lot to learn from this training. So we want as many people as possible to be there, including YOU!

We ask attendees to not wear cologne, perfume, essential oils or other strongly scented lotions/etc. to accommodate people who have scent sensitivities.
