All thanks to Almighty Allah, the Imam Tirmidhi Institute (ITI) was founded by Professor Dr. Fazal Elahi Zaheer in September, 2023.

He is a renowned Islamic scholar of Pakistan. He served as a professor in the Imam Muhammad Bin Saud University, Al-Riyadh, for almost 19 years.
Furthermore, he served as the Chairman of the Department of Hadith and Higher Research Committee of Tafseer and Hadith in International Islamic University, Islamabad.

The institute is located in Jami' Masjid Imam Tirmidhi G-11/4, which was founded by Professor Dr. Fazal Elahi back in 2004-2005. A small mosque with one room and few basic facilities at the beginning has now بفضل اللہ become a huge building with two big halls, proper heating and cooling systems, large parking area, library and much more.

The affairs of the institute are managed by Imam Tirmidhi Trust.
