2025 GCC Youth Taiwan Mission Trip Application

We’re excited to invite you to join an incredible journey of faith and service this summer in Taiwan! Here’s what you need to know:

Mission Trip Overview:

  • Dates: July 13-18, 2025 (Not including travel days)
  • Location: New Taipei City, Taiwan
  • Mission Focus: Partner with local church(es) to teach English summer camp / VBS
  • Purpose: Share the Gospel with local children and their families through interactive stories and activities

Participant Requirements

  • Age Range: 8th grade through college
  • Spiritual Readiness: Active GCC communicant members with regular Sunday worship attendance and demonstrated faith commitment
  • Experience: Prior service experience teaching / assisting in Sunday School or Vacation Bible School, with passion to work with children
  • Character: Willing to serve as positive role models of spiritual maturity, individual responsibility, cultural sensitivity and adaptability

Cost Sharing Information per GCC church policy

  • 1/3 paid by GCC mission fund
  • 1/3 through GCC fundraising activities
  • 1/3 paid by team member/family

Application Deadline: February 28th, 2025

Application Process: All applicants will be interviewed and evaluated by the GCC Youth Leadership Team, and acceptance may also be subject to team size limits.

Should I be selected to participate in this missionary trip, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I'm committed to:
  1. Share one-third of the trip cost (assistance is available if needed)
  2. Participate in all required evangelism training and information sessions
  3. Participate in fundraising activities (more details will be provided)
  4. Prepare and pray for the mission trip
  5. Make my best effort in observing all rules and instructions during the trip, and humbly and willingly perform assigned tasks and duties as a team member to honor God and be a good witness for Christ.
