As part of the 3rd “Enharmonic Controllers and Interfaces for Keyboard Instruments Symposium” at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz
Symposium, Hermann-Markus-Preßl-Saal, Brandhofgasse 21, 8010, Graz
6-8 December, 2024 // Deadline November 1, 2024
Instrument 1: Microtonal e-piano
This instrument is a software extension for the e-piano that enables dynamic retuning capabilities. We invite submissions of short compositions (up to 7 minutes) for e-piano utilizing this dynamic retuning software (Max/MSP). Composers interested in participating can request access to the necessary patches and software, or contact zeit.schleife.kunst@gmail.com for more information and inquiries about the software's potential.
As this is intended to be an educational exchange, we especially encourage submissions that explore and push the boundaries of real-time microtonal performance on the e-piano.
Limited electronics available upon request; please inquire as soon as possible if you would like to include them.
