The Edison Foundation will consider grant requests on a semester basis. There will be no “standing” grants automatically awarded. Grant applications must be submitted in order to be considered.
Grant Application Deadlines (please leave time to secure necessary signatures in advance of deadline)
First Semester Grants Deadline is September 30 Second Semester Grants Deadline is February 15
*You may submit a grant after the deadline for unanticipated needs; however, the Foundation may not be able to consider such requests.
All Grant Applications must be completed and signed by the Edison staff person making the request, approved by the applicable Department Head, the Principal, and then submitted to the Foundation.
If you have timely submitted a complete Grant Application, a member of the Foundation may contact you for additional information. Please be sure the contact information you provide is current and monitored. Your timely response will be necessary.
Unless and until you receive written (or email) confirmation from the Foundation that some or all of your Grant Application has been approved, you should not incur any expenses or make any commitments based upon a belief it will be approved.
Any tangible items purchased with grant money is the sole and exclusive property of Thomas A. Edison School and must be provided to the School after it is purchased.
