My Maker Faire Proposal
What is the Maker Faire?
A family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. Students, parents, and community members will all show off their unique creations & solutions while getting a chance to be hands-on and make new innovations. Be a part of this amazing experience!

What is a Maker?
Anyone who creates something is a maker!! Makers are independent inventors, designers, tinkerers, artists, & scientists. Makers are a source of innovation, you see a need and create an answer using tools to improve yourself and the world around you.

Who we are looking for?
Come and display your unique creations and solutions at a table at our Maker Faire! We would love for you and/or your students to share your wares with the Longfellow community. Showcase what you make along with the materials and tools you use. You could also bring a hands-on piece where other students can experience your creative problem solving . We want to see our student body bursting with creative invention and students who are excited to get more into making and STEAM.

What would you like to share at the Maker Faire? Complete this form to explain your work.
Maker’s projects will be reviewed based on originality, craftsmanship, innovation, and purpose. We will communicate with all makers letting you know if projects are accepted and details for the MakerFaire evening.
