Request Sponsorship for a 2020 Bike Month Event
SLO Shift is happy to announce that Rideshare.org is once again offering mini-grant sponsorships up to $200 to help you host an awesome Bike Month Event this May! Use this form to submit your event details. SLO Shift will begin reviewing the submissions in late March and getting in touch with you then. While you can complete the sponsorship form below as late as 4:59 PM on Friday, April 10, 2020, the smart kids apply wayyyy way sooner. Please note: events submitted through this form will NOT be automatically added to the community calendar.

Bike Month event sponsorships are available for events happening outside of peak-commute hours during May. This means that events happening Monday through Friday between 7-9 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. can't, won't and don't qualify for sponsorship funds. What about 9:13 a.m. on a Thursday? Yup! 7:27 p.m. on a Tuesday? Yeah buddy! High Noon on Sunday? Heck yes! Anytime on a Saturday or Sunday? Oh yes indeedy!

Don’t forget, Thursday, May 14th is Bike to Work Day. Bike to Work Day is a program of SLO Regional Rideshare so check them out if you are interested in putting on an event on the 14th. Get more info at rideshare.org/btwd and rideshare.org/safe-routes-to-school.

If your Bike Month event does not need sponsorship or you want to submit an event for another time of the year, please use our other form on the "Submit Event" page at sloshift.org/submit-event. Those events will be automatically posted to the calendar. Do not submit the same event with both forms.
