Matthew Grandin's studio specializes in facilitating the fabrication of oddball projects. Our clients include commercial venues who want unique installations, furniture, facades or display hardware, TV/Film/Theater clients who need unique functional props, Galleries & Artists who need assistance installing artwork and/or developing display solutions, and individuals who want to create custom furniture or textile products.
Do you have drawings and dimensions of your project?
YES! I have EXACT shop drawings/ CAD for every part, quantity, screw hole, countersink, dimension, material (all elements of design/ fabrication) and will will upload a jpeg, pdf, 3dm, obj, stl, dwg file
Sort-Of - I have a sketch, but not all elements of design/ fabrication are there. I may need some consultation on materials or process to fully flesh out the details. I will will upload a jpeg, pdf, 3dm, obj, stl, dwg file (consultation rate: $45/hr)
NO - I have no shop drawings or details, but have an idea and need help bringing it into reality. I will definitely need consultation to develop a shop drawing and bring the idea to reality. (Consultation Rate $45/hr)

Luxury - This is a very high end piece
Good - A compromise of good quality and price
Low - We are looking to save some money with an economy finish
Minimum Lead-time is 2 weeks from initial deposit received AND project deliverables confirmed.
It is common for the shop to be scheduled 2-weeks out.
Do you require Delivery/Shipping/Pickup?
Yes, Delivery - please include a delivery quote (to address provided above)
Yes, Shipping - please provide a shipping quote (to address provided above)
No - We will pickup our project on the agreed upon time and date (63 Flushing Ave, Bldg 280, Ste 415, Brooklyn, NY 11205)
My project doesn't require delivery or pickup
Is your project a rush job?
YES - We need it in less than two weeks
MAYBE - I'm not sure
NO - It's not time sensitive
Does your project require installation?
No - I've got my own installers or it's free standing.
Yes - But I have all the tools needed to install it and I just need you ($350/day)
Yes - But I need you to bring all the tools required ($500/day + materials)

We will require 50% paid up front to get started on your project.
