ROMP USA Assistance Program Practitioner Enrollment
The Range of Motion Project (ROMP) is a nonprofit organization that provides high-quality prosthetic care to people with amputation who do not have access to this human right. In the United States, ROMP helps through its US Assistance Program. In this Program, people with amputation who do not have access to prosthetic care due to immigration status, lack of insurance, or extreme financial hardship can apply to receive prosthetic care through a ROMP US Assistance Program prosthetist. Once the application is approved, ROMP dispatches the necessary components to the practitioner, who then donates their time and the consumable materials to provide prosthetic care to the patient. The patient is expected to make a voluntary donation directly to ROMP, per the guidelines which can be downloaded from the US Assistance Program Portal on the ROMP website (http://www.rompglobal.org/usa/).
