MACLT Tool Library Check-Out Request
MACLT is pleased to make several different sets of tools available for homeowners to check out. These tools are free of charge for MACLT homeowners to use. 

To request the tools available fill out the form below and an MACLT staff member will reach out to let you know when the requested tool will be available.

MACLT staff will reach out to set up a pick up time for the requested tool from the MACLT office at 902 Royster Oaks Drive Suite 105. Homeowners will have the tool for 1 week from the day of pick up and MACLT staff will arrange a drop off with homeowners at time of tool pick up.

By requesting a tool MACLT homeowners agree to the terms below:

1. Assumption of Risk

The Participant acknowledges that the use of tools and equipment provided by the Program may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or death. The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks related to the use, handling, and operation of any tools or equipment borrowed through the Program.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability

The Participant hereby releases, waives, and discharges MACLT, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to the Participant's use of the tools and equipment, including but not limited to those arising from the Released Parties' negligence.

3. Indemnification

The Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or related to the Participant's use of the tools and equipment provided by the Program.

4. Condition of Tools and Equipment

The Participant agrees to inspect all tools and equipment prior to use and assumes responsibility for determining their safety and suitability. The Participant acknowledges that MACLT makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the condition or fitness of the tools and equipment.

5. Compliance with Rules

The Participant agrees to comply with all rules, policies, and guidelines established by MACLT for the Tool Share Program. Failure to do so may result in the revocation of Program privileges.

6. Return of Tools and Equipment

The Participant agrees to return all borrowed tools and equipment in the same condition as received, subject to normal wear and tear, and by the agreed-upon return date.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin.

8. Acknowledgment and Understanding

The Participant acknowledges that they have read and fully understand this Agreement and that they are signing it voluntarily.
