Our advocacy strength is reliant on community voices.
The goal of this initiative is to map trends and patterns through the district as it relates to the needs of Special Education families so that we can keep an accurate pulse on the health and well being of our community and advocate accordingly.

Why is the SSEPAC Listening Initiative important?
Understanding the ongoing lived experiences and needs of Somerville Special Education families is essential in mapping trends and patterns throughout the district. It's important for Special Education/SSEPAC families to be the eyes and ears for our community and share their experiences so that we can keep an accurate pulse of what's going on and take initiative and act accordingly. You and your family’s lived experiences with Somerville Special Education can shape a future of greater collaboration, transparency, communication, with the ultimate goal of meeting every child's needs. By sharing your experiences, thoughts, and feedback with SSEPAC you're helping us support the special education community in the most targeted and effective way possible.
We're all in this together and there is a really good chance that the person on the other end of this form can relate.
