I confirm that my organisation has safeguarding policies in place, which are adhered to by myself and my staff (if appropriate). This includes regular safeguarding training/updates. We follow the guidance from the latest version of KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education). My organisation has a DSL who has undertaken safeguarding and child protection training. My organisation regularly reviews the performance and/or suitability of staff or volunteers after their appointment. *

- Satisfactory enhanced DBS checks (with CBL check where in regulated activity);
- Satisfactory completion of a fitness and declaration of health form;
- Rigorous selection processes to judge suitability of the prospective employee;
- Scrutiny of any application forms with any gaps in study or employment discussed, as appropriate;
- Review of two references for prospective employee ;
- Interviews of prospective employee;
- Confirmation of right to work in the UK.
- Regular Performance Reviews are carried out.
