To maintain academic accreditation, a grade update is not just to boost the overall average, or for a student to retake a graded assessment to get a better grade.  
If a grade update is based on tech issues experienced during the assessment, this form can be completed.
Reasons must be based on tech issues experienced during the assessment. Tech issues include, but are not limited to:
- Internet outage while taking the assessment, resulting in a 0 being recorded.
- Course timing out because the student stepped away from the assessment. 
- System scored one grade, then recorded a different grade once the assessment was closed.
Approved grade updates are typically processed within 1-2 business days.
