NZ Functional Trait Database workshop
Sunday 19th November 10am-3pm
NZFSS Hamilton 2017

Workshop Aims:
(1) Discuss current knowledge and to identify key gaps in information with the goal of developing a comprehensive national database of traits for New Zealand freshwater fauna and flora.
(2) Explore, discuss and plan how the database, and functional traits, can be tested and applied in on-the-ground research, restoration practice, and policy around freshwater management.

Some preparation work will need to be completed prior to the workshop including possible conference calls via Skype. There will also be post-workshop opportunities for further development of the traits database.

This workshop is funded by the NSC - New Zealand's Biological Heritage
