Tennessee Equine Complaints

Due to recent changes in the Tennessee law regarding the handling of livestock complaints, all complaints must go through the State Agricultural Crime authorities. Please follow this link to start the process.

Please give us as much information as you can when filing a complaint. Scroll down to answer all questions.
If we do not have enough information we cannot guarantee a timely investigation by authorities.
Time restraints do not allow us to update complainants on the progress of an investigation.

Here are some things you, as a concerned citizen, can do to help speed up the process:
1) File a complaint with the sheriff’s department in the county.
2) Let them know that HHT can help them with transport; care and housing at no expense to the county, if they are willing to investigate and feel charges are warranted. Give them our contact information.

It takes everyone working together in Tennessee to help the horses in need.
