Hello Class of 2024! We invite all graduating NYU students to the 2024 First-Generation Student Celebration. The First Generation Student Celebration recognizes and centers the accomplishments and experiences of graduating students at NYU who are the first, or among the first, in their families to earn a bachelor's degree and, as part of our interconnected NYU community, is open to all students interested in celebrating the first generation community. This celebration is made possible through the NYU club FLIP's 2023 First-Generation Graduation Ceremony which paved the way for recognition of first-generation students at NYU.

The celebration will be held at the following time and location:

Date: Saturday May 4th, 2024
Time: 1:00PM - 4:00PM
Location: Rosenthal Pavilion, 10th floor Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square S, New York, NY 10012

If you are a graduating student (Fall'23, Spring'24, Summer'24):

Registration deadline: Sunday April 21st at 11:59 pm ET.
You MUST be registered for the First Generation Student Celebration in order to receive a stole. Stoles will be given out on a first come, first serve basis on the day of the celebration.
Note: This event is limited to 190 students in-person, so filling out this form does not guarantee an in-person spot.

Unfortunately, guests are not able to attend in-person due to space capacity and prioritizing attendance for current graduates. However, live streaming will be available for graduating students, friends, family, and other non-NYU guests of the graduates!
