Biodiversity Grant
Keep San Antonio Beautiful is proud to announce our Biodiversity Grant opportunity.  Five grants (up to $200) will be awarded on Earth Day, April 22, 2022.  Habitat enhancement projects should directly support the creation, restoration, remediation, improvement, and/or protection of habitats for important pollinator species such as butterflies, bees, bats, and more. Additionally, projects should incorporate community outreach and engagement activities designed to educate and empower the public to help enhance pollinator habitats.

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations, state or federal government agencies, federally recognized tribes and local governments, and educational institutions.

CRITERIA:
Projects must be completed and funding spent by July 30, 2022. If total project costs exceed grant amount, the
project can be completed using other sources of funding. Grant funding may not be used to support political advocacy, fundraising, lobbying, litigation, terrorist activities, or Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations.

APPLICATION PROCESS AND TIMELINE:
- Applicants can request a maximum of $200.
- Grantees will be required to send pictures of the habitat enhancement project once complete.
- The Biodiversity Grant will run from March 15th through April 15th .  
- Winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22, 2022.
