Are you working on research that you would like to share with the Rausser College of Natural Resources community? The upcoming Spring 2021 Virtual Research Showcase is an opportunity to showcase your research and practice your presentation skills:

Professional benefits include:
-Gain communication and presentation skills
-Learn to summarize your research, which is an integral part of life in academia
-Get recognition for the hard work you put into a research project
-Have the chance to discuss your project with others who share your interests
-Give the local intellectual community a chance to learn about your exciting research
-Add another great experience to your professional resume

Registration is required to participate in the Rausser College Research Showcase. Dress-code is business casual/Zoom professional (non-pajama pants please).

The Research Showcase will be held virtually (through Zoom) on Friday, April 30th as a part of our CalWeek Programming! Due to the number of participants, we will be splitting up our student presenters by research topic: BioScience (roughly ES, NS, MB, MEB, and GPB majors) and Social Science (roughly CRS, EMF, S&E, and EEP majors). The BioScience Research Showcase will be from 9am-Noon (PST), and the Social Science Research Showcase will be from 1-3pm (PST).

Each Presenter will have ~10 minutes to describe their research and answer questions from the community.

Participants will need to email their completed research posters (pdf, png, tif, jpg, or powerpoint files) by 5pm on Friday, April 23rd by emailing them to askcnr@berkeley.edu

If you are unable to participate in the live Zoom Session for the Research Showcase, please email us to let us know as soon as possible. We will ask that you make a video presentation of you presenting your work or narrating your poster/powerpoint as an alternative.

Recipients of the Rausser College Travel Grant & Student-Initiated SPUR are required to participate in this event.
