Thank you so much for your interest in helping newcomer students to start the r new lives in Canada and at the U of A. Each newcomer student will be supported by a team of 5 - 6 volunteers.
We do our best to find a group of students, staff and community members who best fit with each newcomer student, based on the information we are given. You will be notified about whether or not your application has been selected by mid to late June. At times, there isa delay in finding out which students will come to Ualberta. In that case, we will email to update you on the new timeline.
