Interested in gaining skills, tools, and knowledge to improve your hard of hearing organisation? Want to improve your leadership as an advocate for better hearing accessibility? Do you have a desire to turn ideas into action in your community? If so, then this study session is for you.
The International Federation for Hard of Hearing Young People (IFHOHYP) with the Council of Europe Youth Department will be hosting a Study Session (STS) this year from 5th to 9th July. Due to the pandemic, the study session will be held entirely online.
What will the study session include?
It will include five 5-hour workshops, they will be highly interactive learning opportunities designed for young hard of hearing advocates around the world. Participants will learn how to increase their leadership capacities and advocate for improved hearing accessibility. Whether it is about increasing funding for hearing assistive devices, creating hard of hearing friendly international mobility programmes or advocating for better hearing loss prevention programmes, this StS will provide young leaders the opportunity to bring ideas and current projects to the table and work alongside other young leaders and guest speakers in: developing effective leadership, mobilising civic engagement, accessing resources, and turning ideas into reality through project management training, mentoring and networking.
To apply, please fill out the IFHOHYP StS 2021 application form below.
