Thank you for your interest in enrolling your student in Peak Virtual Academy! Peak is a K-12 non-traditional school of choice within the Montrose County School District. We offer two distinct programs, hybrid and fully online. Our hybrid program consists of blended in-person and online learning for grades K-12. Fully online instruction is available for grades 6-12. Peak Academy operates on a trimester schedule. This differs from other MCSD schools who follow the semesters/quarters schedule.

Trimester 1: September 4 , 2026 is the last day we will take new students for Trimester 1 for grades 6-12.

Trimester 2: Enrollment opens September 4th through October 9th. This allows staff time to conduct interviews, accept students, and create schedules. Tri 2 starts November 03, 2026.

Trimester 3: Enrollment opens November 3rd through January 29th. This allows staff time to conduct interviews, accept students, and create schedules. Tri 3 starts February 17, 2026.

**High School and middle school students must be in touch with their counselor if considering transferring schools after the start of the school year.

If transferring from another MCSD school and applying outside of the enrollment window, please enter current school counselor's name. (Write N/A if your student is coming from out of district or applying within the enrollment windows)
