CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS                  y4redinitiative
We are looking for passionate and committed volunteers to join our communication, project and M & E teams to facilitate our ongoing projects Rural Nursery Project (RNP), Ebonyi Literacy Project (ELP) and AI book club in Ebonyi State. We are working to ensure that children in rural communities gain free and quality access to early childhood and basic  education. We are also committed to ensuring that our club members gain literacy and numeracy skills.
 
Volunteers on ELP and AI book club  therefore are required to go to field work twice in a week (Fridays, 9am to 12 noon, Saturdays 10am to 12 noon) to teach. While those in RNP will only be called upon when there is community outreach, stakeholders' engagement, school scouting and set up and other necessary activities needed for the success of the project. 

One can also volunteer with our Communication team. We are looking for people who can contribute to building and maintaining our online presence. Volunteers in this category will work with the communication Lead to create content and improve our online presence on social media. (this is tenable virtually)

All volunteers are required to attend periodic virtual webinars, participate in community engagements/trainings and generally contribute towards the progress of the project.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Applicant must be resident in Ebonyi State (except for communication team) 

2. S/he must be available for field work.

3. S/he must be committed to the project(s)

4. People who  have a degree in education and /or have worked in a related field are highly encouraged to apply.

5. People who have a knowledge of graphic design, content creation and video editing are encouraged to apply too.
