Join Servas International for this Peace Forum dedicated to exploring Climate Justice issues with some guest speakers:

- Denis Fernando, campaigner at Friends of the Earth, who will talk about the connection between wars, peace and the climate & environmental crisis

- Danny Chivers, author and carbon analyst who will untangle the issues around carbon offsetting and its alternatives

- Rehema Peter, Servas member and Partnership for a Green Future Tanzania, who will explore the issues faced by people in the Global South, the links between gender and climate change and some climate campaigns in East Africa

The meeting will be facilitated by Clara Paillard, Servas Britain & Ireland and newly coordinating Servas International efforts to develop our activities in relation to Climate Justice. Any enquiries can be sent to clara@tippingpointuk.org

The meeting will last for 90 minutes and we will hear from each of the speakers for 10-15 minutes before to go into discussion and/or break out groups.

- Language: English - Captions will be enable to assist people whose english is not their first language and for people with hearing impairments
- No dress code
- You will receive the zoom details after registration.
- Registration will close on 23rd January or once 100 members are reached.
- Photos, videos and audio will be recorded and documented during the event. These may be presented or used for non-profit purposes in Servas media applications.
