Kappy Family Anne Frank Art & Writing Competition - 2019 Entry Form
This form is to be used to submit art and writing entries for the 2019 Kappy Family Anne Frank Art & Writing Competition.

All entries must be submitted and all artwork must be received by March 8, 2018 to be considered.

Artwork may be dropped off at the Holocaust Memorial Center or mailed to:

Rules and Guidelines
Each student may submit one entry for consideration. All qualifying work will be reviewed by a panel of judges.

All work should be original and done without the help of teachers or parents, outside of basic editing and construction assistance. Each entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form.

Please follow your teacher’s instruction for how to submit your entry for a class assignment or extra credit. Projects submitted outside of a class must still have a teacher sponsor included on your registration form.

- All books, websites, films, photographs, and artwork referenced or used in your entry
must be cited.

- Only original work will be considered.

- All entries will become property of the Holocaust Memorial Center.

- Winning artwork will be framed and displayed in a curated gallery. Winning artwork will be
available for pickup after September 2019.

- Artwork that does not win will be must be picked up before June 1, 2018. You must call or
email to make arrangements to pick up artwork.


Writing:

- Written entries may not exceed 1000 words.

- Writing may ONLY be submitted electronically and can be emailed as .doc or .docx files to
competition@holocaustcenter.org. All written entries must be received by March 8, 2018.


Art:

- Art entries must be 2D and may not exceed 18”x24”. Artwork must be submitted on black
or white mat board.

- Your name must be written clearly on the back of your artwork.

- Artwork must be submitted along with an artist statement that is no more than
150 words.

- Artwork may be dropped off or mailed to the Holocaust Memorial Center and must be
received by March 8, 2018.
