Diversifying Economics Seminars - Speakers List
The Committee on the Status of Minority Groups in the Economics Profession (CSMGEP) is building a database of economists from groups underrepresented in the profession to make available to seminar organizers in economics departments. The current list of speakers is available at https://econspeakerdiversity.shinyapps.io/EconSpeakerDiversity/.

***If you are a woman, LGBTQ, and/or URM economist, as defined below, and wish to be included on this list, please fill out the form on this page.***

CSMGEP is a standing committee of the American Economic Association. For more information visit our webpage at https://www.aeaweb.org/about-aea/committees/csmgep. As background, the Econ Seminar Diversity project (https://econseminardiversity.shinyapps.io/EconSeminarDiversity/), which gathers data on how often economics research seminars feature women and URM economists, finds that 2 percent of the 3000+ speakers in their data are URM, as compared to 8 percent of economics faculty.
