Established in 2017, Merit America provides an alternative path to upward mobility and believes deeply in our learners’ potential to learn new skills and advance their careers. We do that with a program that provides both flexibility and support as our learners gain the subject-matter skills and professional skills employers are looking for.

The current educational system does not serve Americans fairly and equally, and we’re here to change that. We’re here to reward intrepid learners based on their grit and merit. Your mentorship, feedback, and expertise could be the difference between a learner acing an interview, or having to go back to the drawing board. The more supporters they have in their corner, empowering them on the journey to a skilled career, the better chance they have at success!   Our learners represent an incredibly diverse cohort with a common goal - learn new skills to increase short-term earnings potential and build a long-term pathway into an upwardly mobile career.  Mentors provide valuable insights and guidance to our learners as they prepare for new roles.
