The A. Philip Randolph Institute - Maine Chapter, the Dr. Charles A. Scontras Center for Labor and Community Education, and the UMaine Bureau of Labor Education invite you to join us for a program on Immigration and Labor.
Saturday, October 5
9:00 to noon, followed by a lunch for those who wish to stay.
IBEW Local 567 Union Hall
238 Goddard Road, Lewiston
The program will consist of a brief history presentation followed by interactive discussions. We’ll be talking about our own experiences at work, about the impact policy choices have on the lives of working people, and how the economy is out of balance. We’ll also talk about how our broken immigration system makes it much harder for all working people to work together to create an economy that works for all of us.
All welcome.
