As most of you know, five (5) Sullivan county schools have met the minimum qualifications and are eligible to win $75,000 and $50,000 prizes. Livingston Manor CSD is 2 OF THE 5 SCHOOLS!!!!! Both the LM Elementary School and LM Middle/High School are in the running for BOTH prizes.

Part of what the schools will be judged on is how the school will utilize the prize money if they win. Our EHG Coordinators have surveyed the students, staff and community for ideas and now we need everyone's help in narrowing down this list of great ideas.

Sullivan 180 Prize Money Project, Programs or Equipment Ideas

This survey will help the LMCS Wellness Team narrow down how the $75,000 and $50,000 prizes could be utilized to enhance the Health & Wellness programs available to our school community.

Expand and enhance the "Nature Trail" along the river to include Health & Wellness stations along the trail.

Expand the existing school garden program to include a green house located on school property.

Purchase cafeteria equipment necessary to expand and enhance our Farm to School Program.

Create a Sensory Room and Motor Skills lab for use by all students and staff for de-escalation and fine motor skill activities.

Outdoor Adventure Equipment necessary for school fieldtrips (Canoes, Kayaks, Life Jackets, Tents, Camping gear, etc.)
