Kane County Soil Health Impact & Economic Assessment - Farmer Participant Interest
Kane County is launching a Soil Health and Economic Assessment to identify opportunities to grow farm income and strengthen long-term resilience through practical, on-farm soil health strategies.

We are seeking information from local crop farmers.

This project relies on real farm data—soil, operations info and financial records—to learn more about the benefits of soil health practices and the day-to-day realities of putting them into place.

All information provided by Kane County farmers for this project will be stored securely to prevent unauthorized access, and all identifying information will either be removed or sufficiently protected, ensuring the data is used anonymously to protect participant privacy.

If you are interested in learning more and potentially participating, please fill out this form. We will begin collecting information mid-October t hrough the end of November. Soil tests will be conducted in November.
