Families of Prospective CEC Students,
Chatham Early College extends an opportunity for you to apply for enrollment for next school year. You are qualified to apply at this time based on your past and current academic performance.
The CEC is an early college and one of the seven high schools within Chatham County Schools. The school is located at the Chatham Center for Innovation campus at 501 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd in Siler City. The school offers highly motivated high school students the following:
- Individualized academic plan to earn a high school diploma and an Associate Degree from CCCC within 4-5 years at no cost to the student & family
- Smaller learning environment
- Acceleration and honors level high school coursework
- In-person, hybrid, and online delivery of courses
- Personalized learning
- College-ready preparation

Wed, April 9 Teacher recommendations due
Thu, April 17 Acceptance notifications emailed
Thu, April 24 Acceptance survey due to CEC

As part of the application process, your current school will share the following information with CEC; it will be requested after you have submitted your application:
- Academic records, including grades and final exam scores
- Student services and Exceptional Children's records
- Discipline reports
