*WALK-IN REGISTRATION IS ALLOWED
Contestants must be of at least 18 years of age.
Contestants are required to pay RM10 as entry fee and hand in with the application form before the event date.
Only the first 25 registered participants will be allowed to compete.
Visible signs of sickness will result in disqualification.
The organizing committee reserves the right to reject or disqualify an applicant.
Those who do not follow the rules will be disqualified directly from the competition.
Only entire sushi rolls/ bowls of ramen will be counted.
Eating large amount of sushi/ramen is a potentially hazardous and uncomfortable activity. All contestants should acknowledge that they assume all risks associated with eating in this event, including, but not limited to: indigestion, personal injuries, illnesses or possible loss of life. Participation is at your own risk. The organizer is not responsible for any damages, whatsoever, that the participant may suffer as a result of his/her participation. The organizer will also not be responsible for any loss, or damage to the participant’s property.
1.The contest consists of two rounds. In the first round, contestants are divided into two groups and the top five from each group will be qualified to move to the second round.
2.Contestants may not touch the food before starting signals.
3.Contestants will have 10 minutes to swallow all the food they can handle.
4.While the entire 10 minutes is up, contestants may not put any additional sushi/ramen into their mouths. They will have 20 seconds to swallow what is in their mouths. Any content remaining in mouth after the 20 seconds will not be counted.
5.Only entire sushi rolls/bowls of ramen eaten will be counted.
6.Winners are judged and selected based on the quantity of food (as per sushi roll/ bowl of ramen) they can finish within the time frame.
7. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners of the final round.
