Fundamentals of Conservation Conflict Transformation Workshop - Waitlist + Future Interest Form
These workshops are full. Please use this form to join the waitlist, and to indicate if you would be interested in another date if scheduled. Please contact with any questions!
CPeace will be offering two online Fundamentals of Conservation Conflict Transformation workshops in early 2021: February 8-12 and March 1-5 (via Zoom). Please contact with any questions.
Workshop Registration:

Please complete this form if you are interested in either the February 8-12 or March 1-5 workshop (or if you are interested in participating in another public, private or hybrid* CCT fundamentals workshop soon). Note that the cost for the workshop is $2,500 USD per person.

*A "hybrid" workshop is where an organization or group reserves a certain number of seats for their team to participate, but since they don't fill all the space available, the remainder of the seats are open to others on a first-come-first-serve basis. The organization that books the hybrid has scheduling control over when the workshop occurs.

The exact times will be determined based on the time zones of the participants, but will likely be 11:00am-5:00pm Eastern Time daily.

Due to extremely high demand and limited space for this workshop, we recommend submitting the following pre-registration form as soon as possible.

Filling out this form does not constitute reservation of a spot in the workshop. Your space will be reserved once payment is confirmed (if space is available).

At this time, we do not have any scholarship funds available.

Refunds due to cancellation are only given if the space can be filled by another participant. That said, CPeace will make every effort to fill your space (and issue a refund) if you need to cancel. Refunds due to COVID-related reasons will be considered on a case-by-case basis, even if your spot cannot be filled.

Workshop Information
The workshop draws upon best practices for addressing complex conservation conflicts and cultivating durable conservation solutions. Participants will leave the capacity building with an individual (or group) 'Next Steps' Conservation Conflict Intervention Plan addressing the immediate conflict and a longer-term strategic vision and goals for their work. Participants develop a community of practice around Conservation Conflict Transformation (CCT), using a common language to investigate conflict dilemmas, a shared set of tools and approaches to analyze and address conflict, and a community of resource professionals who can continue to provide mutual support in transforming conservation conflicts.
How do you plan to use CCT fundamentals in your field or community? *
Briefly describe how you will apply the learning outcomes of this workshop to your work's strategic objectives.
Are you applying with a group or team?
Small teams or groups working on a specific conflict are encouraged to apply together. Building the capacity of a small team helps further catalyze positive change around the conflict you are trying to transform. Please note in the application if you are applying with a small group and kindly name all members of that group so we can do our best to ensure all participants are included in this workshop.
Workshop options: please choose your preferred date below. If you have any flexibility in your schedule, we would appreciate if you could choose "either" which will help us accommodate everyone's schedules.
