Congratulations on becoming a Ramsey Middle School Ram!!! We are excited to have you as part of our family.  More importantly, thank you for your interest in our orchestra program! Practice is everything!!

Things to know:
PRIMARY INSTRUMENTS

-Viola (College scholarship instrument/low interest)
-Cello
-Double Bass (College scholarship instrument/low interest)

NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

A UNIQUE AND ENRICHING EXPERIENCE THROUGH MUSIC (NTI 3.0 or In person)

MANY OPPORTUNITIES FOR ACHIEVEMENTS, HIGH QUALITY LITERATURE, LEADERSHIP, AND LIFE LONG FRIENDS!

FLAT $40 CLASSROOM FEE; covers school owned instrument rental and/or any accessories, method books, materials needed for our orchestra program. (Fee waiver does not pay.) ***While NTI-nothing due at this time.***

YOU CAN BE IN MORE THAN ONE ACTIVITY!  WE HAVE CHEERLEADERS, FOOTBALL PLAYERS, BASKETBALL PLAYERS, BETA CLUB, MLKU, ETC!

IMPORTANT: This is an interest form. It does not guarantee that you will be enrolled in year-long orchestra based different variables, such as your schedule allowing a year-long Quest class the next trimester or poor behavior in class. Our orchestra students are very hard working and we want to keep that progress going with students who WANT to be here! If this something you do not feel you'll commit time to your instrument, you will not hope to get better! Remember, you will have orchestra for the rest of middle school!
