APSA - RSVP for Recognizing Sickle Cell Awareness Month

We’d love for you to join us to kick off our new "Awareness Into Action" Series

We are excited to host the 1st meeting of our Awareness Into Action series, where we aim to shed light on disease states that disproportionately affect the Black community. This series is designed to spread cultural awareness, inspire action toward health equity, and address knowledge gaps while equipping us to grow in our professional development.

Did you know September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month?

How much do you know about sickle cell disease and the communities it most impacts?

As we honor Sickle Cell Awareness Month, we invite you to stand with us in recognizing the sickle cell community. We are pleased to welcome our very own expert at UHCOP, Dr. Onyebuchi Ononogbu, Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and dedicated advocate for health equity, who will be presenting her insights on championing awareness and advocacy.

📅 Monday, Sept. 22

 ⏰ 12:00 – 12:45 PM
