Festival of Nations
Volunteers will be expected to interact with audience in a professional manner while being engaging and informative. As a volunteer for the Hmong Museum booth at the Festival of Nations you will be require to have general knowledge of the exhibit. You will be trained on this on a later date (TBD). The volunteers hours are split into shifts and you will be working together with a minimum of 3 peers to a maximum of 5. You will be cooperating and collaborating with your peers to ensure an authentic and cultural experience for yourself and the audience. Representing the culture and ethnicity you will be required to wear Hmong clothes, if available. The Hmong clothes does not have to be traditional, it can be modernized Hmong clothes. Please keep in mind, if you decide to volunteer you will be required to volunteer for one 3 or 4 hours shift on one of the four days: May 2-5. Food will be provided and you will be able to come in for free on your shift.
