Birmingham Mom Collective - Video Content Team Application
Thank you for your interest in being a committed member of the
Birmingham Mom Collective Video Content Team
! This is a VOLUNTEER position, and we are looking for local moms who are passionate about connecting with other moms in our community, and who are looking for a place to share relatable and uplifting parenting stories.
*Some experience in creating reels is required!*
If accepted as a video content creator, you agree to:
Submit
one reel per month
during the six-month term from
February 2024 through August 2024
(six reels total)

Your reel submissions will need to be accompanied by a caption and cover photo that goes along with your reel. You will be given an assigned schedule with a due date when the topic of your reel is due and when the submission of your reel is due.
This is a total of
6 reels in the 6-month period.
Please keep this in mind when applying so that you make sure you can keep this commitment.
Video content creators are not limited to six reels per six-month term; if you are inspired to create more, we will be happy to take your submissions!

Part of your commitment as a member of this team is supporting Birmingham Mom Collective and your fellow video content creators through social media. You will be expected to share the reels you've created on your personal Instagram account, and we will also expect positive social media engagement (such as likes, comments, shares) on the BMC Facebook and Instagram posts. Lastly, we ask all of our video content creators to invite other moms they know to follow us on Facebook and Instagram as this helps the content our team works hard to produce get seen. (We will explain how to send invites.) Are you willing to engage in these ways?

We love getting everyone together from time to time at our contributor events as well as our public events. Normally, we ask everyone to commit to coming to at least 2 contributor or public events during their term. This helps build team unity and helps us all connect with one another. Our video content creation team may also schedule occasional Zoom meetings. Could you commit to coming to at least 2 Zoom meetings/in-person gatherings during your next 6-month term?
