A bakery in Colorado has brought a case to the United States Supreme Court essentially arguing that based on the sincerely held religious beliefs of its owners, the bakery should not be compelled to obey a state law that prohibits private businesses from refusing to serve LGBTQ+ identifying individuals. What are your views on the tension between non-discrimination laws and religious exemptions that permit private actors to avoid obeying such laws based on their sincerely held religious beliefs?
