We're creating a national walking network and we exciting challenge ahead of us in 2023/2024! There are nearly 2500 cities, towns and villages in the Slow Ways network connected by over 9000 routes.

We have the ambitious target of having the network verified over the next year. We're are incredibly excited to be able to open up the opportunity for proactive councils to get involved!  

By helping create the Slow Ways network, you can help your council fulfil it's own objectives and can assist with multiple agendas - and enjoy doing so at the same time. 

You could verify all of your town’s Slow Ways in a single day whilst hitting your active travel and climate emergency agendas too.

Can you gather together a minimum team of 3 people to walk and review a route? Or even better 30 or even 300?
