Trainee survey - "Random Acts of Mentorship"
CERA is launching a new TraineeHub program aimed at providing short-term mentorship to graduate students, postdocs, and early-career faculty.

This program matches mentees with mentors for a short period (1-3 meetings), during which the mentor provides feedback, advice, or lends their expertise on a specific project or general issues in career trajectory. Mentees could ask for feedback on job market materials, manuscripts, grant applications, or study recruitment materials. They could also seek advice on the composition of a mentorship team for a fellowship or career development award or strategies for approaching the non-academic job market.

Mentees: If you are interested in being paired with a mentor, please fill out the mentorship request form.
Eligibility: graduate/medical students, postdocs, residents, and early career faculty (within 10 years of degree terminus).

Required
Please describe your needs so that we can better match you with a mentor (such as: you are preparing for the academic job market in 1 year and would like feedback on your CV; or that you have a paper you would like to submit for an award at a specific conference). The more specific you are the more we can help.
Are there any specific qualifications or expertise you would need from a mentor? Please note that we will do our best to make these connections but cannot guarantee an exact match.
Have you identified a potential mentor within the ELSIhub Directory that you’d like us to connect you with? If so, please name them.
