Frictionless Data Tool Fund Application
This form captures expressions of interest for the The 2020 Frictionless Data Tool Fund.

The fund, overseen by the Open Knowledge Foundation and financially supported by the Sloan Foundation, provides a one-off grant of $5,000 to support individuals or organisations in building an open source tool for reproducible research built using Frictionless Data specifications, software and code base (http://frictionlessdata.io/). We will prioritize tools focusing on the following fields/domains of science: biology, genetics, neuroscience, ecology, geology, and bioinformatics.

The fund will be accepting submissions of interest until 17th May 2020. All applicants will be notified by email by early June, whether successful or not. Successful candidates will then be invited for interviews. The Tool Fund projects will start mid-June and last until 31st December 2020.

For questions on the fund, speak directly to us on our Gitter chat (https://gitter.im/frictionlessdata/chat) or by emailing frictionlessdata@okfn.org
