Celebrate Alaska Native Heritage Month with MSCS-
Join Mat-Su Central School in celebrating Alaska Native Heritage Month. We will have 3 workshops in the library introducing Alaska Native stories and art projects designed to expand students’ understanding of Alaska’s indigenous people. Our lessons will culminate with a field trip to the Alaska Native Heritage Center, where students will tour recreated village sites and learn about the importance of storytelling in the Alaska Native Culture.

Designed for 4th- 6th graders; however, all grades are welcome.

The lessons will culminate in a field trip to the Alaskan Native Heritage Center on November 26th.
