Shotgun Review Submission Form

Shotgun Reviews are an open forum where the international art community is invited to contribute timely, short-format responses (250-400 words) to an exhibition or event. If you are interested in submitting a Shotgun Review, please fill out all fields of the form below. Each selected review will go through an editorial process with a Daily Serving or Art Practical editor. Every Sunday, Bay Area related reviews will be posted on Art Practical and all other reviews will be posted on Daily Serving. Due to the high number of submissions, only a select number of received submissions will be posted. If you have any problems with or questions about filling out the form, please email bean@dailyserving.com with "Shotgun Review" in the subject line.

Please note that we cannot accept reviews for exhibitions that close within two weeks of the date you submit your review; however, we will accept submissions of recent performances, happenings, etc.

Our Conflict of Interest Policy
We cannot consider contributions regarding: the artwork of someone with whom the writer has a personal relationship; the work of an artist, gallery, or institution with whom the writer has a current or previous financial relationship or internship; any gallery that represents his/her work; any gallery institutionally related to the organization employing the writer; a colleague in the institution employing the writer. We also will not consider submissions by a writer whom the gallery or artist has paid or commissioned to write the article in question, or a submission by a writer who collects the work of the artist in question. We will not consider submissions that have been previously published in any form.
