The UN Food Systems Coordination Hub (the Hub) is inviting
submissions of technical assistance services and programmes from across the
Ecosystem of Support (EoS) to help countries advance their food systems
transformation efforts.
This call responds to growing demand from National Convenors
and countries seeking targeted support for their National Food Systems Pathways
and commitments. Since the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit placed food systems
transformation at the heart of the 2030 Agenda, governments worldwide have
embraced whole-of-society approaches and developed national pathways to guide
their progress. The 2023 UNFSS+2 Stocktaking Moment reviewed that progress and
reinforced the UN Secretary-General's Call to Action, identifying six priority
action areas to accelerate transformation.
When food systems actors reconvened in Addis Ababa in 2025
for the UNFSS+4 Stocktake, a clear picture emerged: progress is being made, and
it is being driven by strong government leadership backed by a broad,
coordinated global community of support. Building on this momentum, the Hub's
new 2026–2027 Work Plan sets a clear direction — deepening engagement with
National Convenors, strengthening the match between country priorities and
available support.
This call for technical assistance services is a direct
contribution to that agenda. By mapping what the EoS has to offer, we aim to
connect countries with the right expertise, at the right time, to turn their
food systems commitments into action.
