🌳 Campsite Options & Booking

We’re gathering this April at Chattahoochee Bend State Park in Newnan, GA, and you’ll need to book your own campsite unless you’re sharing with someone. Here’s what you need to know:

🏕 Tent-Only Walk-In Sites (Campground #2: Sites 207–218)

• Cost: $20/night

• Each site allows up to 6 people but only 2 tents per site (except Site 207, which fits just 1 tent)

• These sites are closest to our communal hangout at Site 216 & include electric hookups and access to bathhouses with showers

We suggest splitting the site cost if you’re sharing, but it’s entirely your choice—after all, it’s your site!

🚐 RV/Drive-In Tent Sites (Campground #2: Sites 202–206 & 219–223)

• Cost: $32/night

• Suitable for a tent or a small camper (up to 15 ft)

• These sites include electric hookups and access to bathhouses with showers

🚌 Larger RVs & Other Options (Campground #1)

• If your camper is over 15 ft, you’ll need to reserve a site in Campground #1

• Campground also offers:

  • Cabins

  • Platform tent sites ($20/night — but farther from the group)

🔥 The Communal Experience – Site 216

This is more than just a camping trip—it’s a group experience! Our communal site at Site 216 will be the heart of our weekend:

• A shared camp kitchen

• Group fire pit for night-time chats, games, and s’mores

• A place to gather, cook, connect, and recharge together

🍽 Group Meals (Optional but Delicious)

We’ll be preparing meals together at the communal kitchen. You're welcome to join or bring your own food—it’s totally up to you!

Menu will be posted closer to the date of the event!

Group Meal Contribution:

• 1 Day – $25

• 2 Days – $50

• 3 Days – $65

• 4 Days – $75

💵 Payment Due: March 20 (non-refundable after this date)
🌟 Whether you’re joining meals or not, we ask everyone to pay a non-refundable $10 communal fee. This covers shared supplies like:

• Plates, cups, silverware, napkins

• Propane, dish soap, and kitchen basics

• Communal site rental and other shared resources

📝 Meal participation is optional, but everyone must contribute the $10 fee to help support the group experience.

🔥 Extras & Essentials

• Bring a bag of firewood for the communal fire ($7.50 at the park)

• Check-in: 1 PM or later on your reservation date

• Check-out: By 12 PM on Sunday

• Parking fee: $5 per vehicle (paid to the park)

• Don’t forget to stop by Site 216 to introduce yourself and join the fun!

• Bring your own drinks and snacks

• Want to bring a dessert or beverage to share? Go for it!
