The NCAEP Emergency Response Team is a volunteer group of equine veterinary professionals joining together to assist in providing veterinary care for sheltered equids. If you are a veterinarian, technician, assistant, or experienced horse handler and are interested in being contacted to help during a disaster response, please fill out our volunteer application below.

South Bay: Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties

DISCLAIMER: During a disaster the California OES is often overwhelmed, and we do not always know when they will be able to spare a representative to swear in volunteers as official Disaster Workers. This means that at times we may be unable to offer insurance coverage.
