Octoberfest Bar Manager Volunteers

DATE OF OCTOBERFEST 2025: Saturday, September 27, 2025.
One licensed bar manager must be behind the bar at all times.
Bar managers are responsible for observing, monitoring, and assisting. They do not pour or serve beer.
If not currently licensed, bar managers must obtain an Operator/Bartender License from the City of Appleton's website: https://www.appleton.org/government/licenses-permits
Applications should be in the Clerk's office by August 30 at the latest.
In order to obtain your license, you must have taken a Responsible Beverage Serving Training Course. To see ones accepted in Wisconsin, see here: https://www.revenue.wi.gov/Pages/Training/alcSellerServer.aspx
License fees will be reimbursed if requested. You will need to fill out a reimbursement form and include a receipt. Email octoberfestvolunteer@gmail.com to complete this. Reimbursements happen after the event.
Bar Managers will also check in the bartenders as they arrive for their shift.
This position does require a one-hour training meeting: Tuesday, September 16 4:30-5:30 PM at the Fox Cities Chamber located at 125 N. Superior Street.

This form allows you to only sign up for one volunteer at a time. It's not often someone signs up more than one for this role, but there's the option to hit "Submit another response" at the end of the quick survey if you have more people to register. We appreciate all the help!
